- The Apple

has a dead screen, missing key, damaged case, and minimal memory, but
it does work.
- Why run Leopard
on slow G4 Macs?, Simon Royal, Tech Spectrum. Tiger has lower
demands and runs more smoothly on low-end Macs, but Leopard gives you
access to more up-to-date software.
2011
- Safari 4.3.1 for
Tiger: Fast, but not perfect, Charles W Moore, Charles Moore's
Mailbag. With the update, Tiger becomes perhaps the fastest OS X 10.4
brower, but it is not without some drawbacks.
- With iOS 4.3, I don't
need to upgrade to an iPad 2 (yet), Austin Leeds, Apple Everywhere.
The iPad 2 is tempting, but iOS 4.3 has made the original iPad work so
well that a new iPad can wait.
- Awaiting my first
iPad, John Hatchett, Recycled Computing. A longtime Mac and iPod
touch user decides the iPad 2 announcement makes this the perfect time
to buy an iPad.
