will be as happy as clams until then.
- Macs more secure than Windows in
the online world, Alan Zisman, Zis Mac. Mac OS X always asks
users if they want to install software. Before Vista, Windows
didn't do that by default - and Vista natters about way too many
things.
- First Blu-ray drive for Apple's
'Books, replace notebook hard drive with Compact Flash, and

Pro (April 2010). Intel i5 and i7 inside, auto-switching GeForce
330M graphics, and 8-9 hour battery life for Apple's largest
notebook.
- Hot 'Book? It
could be your apps, Charles W Moore, 'Book Value. Some programs, such
as Firefox, Chrome, and Thunderbird, can really raise CPU temperature.
Others have less impact on heat.
2011
- Introduction to camera
lenses, John Hatchett, Recycled Computing. Interchangeable lens
cameras allow you to choose from a range of sharp lenses including a
fast normal, a range of wide-angles and telephotos, and macros for
close-up work.
2012

eMac moved to USB 2.0, a faster memory bus, better graphics, and double
the memory capacity.
